Of course, I didn’t notice the big hole in the center until after I took the picture. Apparently some one with an appetite for the underground parts of a pepper plant had a feast in our garden. I replanted it – we’ll see how that goes.
In the garden this year: 2 varieties of tomatoes, 3 cabbage plants, red pepper, green pepper, zucchini, butternut squash, cucumber, and canteloupe. After the cabbage is harvested, we may put in a few broccoli plants if there is still time (and we can still get them).
