The leaky and/or condensation generating pipe in the basement led to the moving of a bunch of stuff, giving me quick access to the Big Box O’ High School and my Big Box O’ the Past. When we moved from Illinois to Silver Spring I had pretty much an entire room o’ the past, which I spent about two weeks culling down to one plastic bin. The box o’ high school was in the pile of stuff that I took from my father’s house a few years ago.
I have been thinking about digging out my old notebooks to look for any gems, but first, it came to my attention recently that Mike Tyson’s new wife, who spent some time in prison for fraud, went to my high school and graduated the year after me. This is the gal:

I would really rather spend my whole day reading through these than doing work and teaching, but alas it is not to be. A quick scan of a few of these yielded the following items of interest. 1) A flow chart I made to aid in the decision making process about ending a relationship and 2) the original copy of “yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of math…”
