I am not going to write about the fact that I am sharing a one-bathroom house with someone doing colonoscopy prep right now. Instead, there’s this:
For the past few weeks, in anticipation of the exciting event, this has been on the calendar for today. I asked Scott if he wrote “poop” and then wrote “prep” over it. He swears that he did not, but I am not so sure.

i guess when you have to schedule it, that means you really need a colonoscopy.
btw, having more than one bathroom is AMAZING. i highly recommend it. this is the first place we’ve ever shared that had two toilets and i can’t imagine how we got by before this…especially now that i’m peeing twice an hour.
My grandmother used to say that the key to a happy marriage is separate bathrooms. She is a smart lady. I’m glad to hear that you and Steve are enjoying having a bit more time apart.
This is the first time we haven’t had separate bathrooms. It will be two years tomorrow, and it is still an adjustment.
