Sunday Bloody Sunday
Today I learned some new math.
I went to the studio this morning ready for a crazy, sweaty, challenging class. I even said something foolish, like “I want to be in pain.” Really, I should know better about these things by now. The first time I had to leave class this morning was somewhere around sun salutation number three, when I jammed my big toe into my thumb, and I had to get a bandage, wash out the wound, and remove the chunk of thumb skin from under my toenail (gross!). Let’s just say that floating forward is NOT one of my stronger maneuvers. The second time I had to leave class was fifteen minutes later, when I had to get two more bandages because I had bled through the first one. Needless to say, over the past several hours I have developed a new appreciation for my right thumb, as it’s been pretty much unusable for anything more vigorous or less dry than typing.
